The December 10, 1925 Seer of Fatima appeared to the Blessed Virgin, and next to the infant Jesus on a luminous cloud. The Virgin showed his heart surrounded by thorns and Jesus, pointing to it, urged the Seer "a pity that continually tortured heart of human ingratitude, there is no one relief with acts of reparation."
Then the Immaculate Virgin added: "Look, my daughter, my Heart encircled the thorns which ungrateful men at all times pierce it with blasphemies and ingratitude.
